CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

Industrial Economics,  Industrial Agglomeration, Industrial Policy,  Political Economy, European Integration. These

interests were actively pursued in 2003/4, as I was on research leave.  In particular, I worked on:

1) second edition of the text book, Industrial Economics and Organization

2) PILOT project - Policy and Innovation in Low Tech Industries (with Kevin Heanue)

3) ADAMS2 - economic evaluation of proposals for improvement of Aircraft Despatch and Maintenance Systems

(with Wayne Dignam), now complete

4) Cluster Development in North Dublin (with Helen McGrath)

5) CISC project on systems of innovation (with Fiona Whitney)
